The passengers carried by domestic airlines has increased by 41% from 129 million in Jan 2013- December 2014 to 181 million in Jan 201-Dec 2016. By 2036, India will have about 478 million airline passenger traffic, which will be more than that of Japan( just under 225 million) and Germany (Just over 200 million) combined.
